L´Estany (The Lake)
 The lake (l'Estany), 2 km. far of Can Xargay.
In the Lake there is a free bath zone (with 5 stars - symbol of water quality) Going on Banyoles direction, we go through the village and we find the lake. We recommend you park the car and go round the lake on foot to enjoy it better. Around it there´s small lakes as: l´Estanyol Vermell (Red litlle lake), l´Estanyol de la Cendra (Ash´s little lake), l´Estanyol de Can Sisó (Can Sisó little lake), l´Estanyol Nou (New little lake) which appeared in1978. 
Also, in Banyoles, we can visit the Plaça Major (Main Square), the Darder museum where there had been the dissected boiximan for a lot of years that has been repatriated recently, the Archaeologic museum, the monastery,... |
